Follow this checklist to ensure your items are ready for pick-up. If you have any questions, please call or email us.
Separate your clothing and items into the following categories:
Full Treatment ($3.00/lb): Items you want heat-treated, tumbled, washed, and folded.
Treat & Fold ($2.25/lb): Clean items that need heat treatment, tumbling, and folding.
Most of the laundry we treat falls into this category as it is already clean.
Heat Chamber (HC) Treatment ($4.50/lb): Items that require lower-temperature treatment without tumbling.
Items you normally dry-clean but are clean and you want heat-treated on their current hangers. (We do not provide hangers.)
Leather items such as jackets, suede boots, shoes, slippers, handbags, and briefcases.
Note: HC-treated items will not be folded after treatment.
Use heavy-duty contractor bags to bag each pile separately.
Seal the bags completely by taping up the openings.
Remove as much air as possible before sealing. We offer bagging assistance for $75/hour. Call for an estimate.
We recommend doing your own bagging to decide what to keep or discard, saving you money.
Important:
Do NOT use white kitchen trash bags, dry cleaning bags, or flimsy bags. Use contractor bags or similar thick bags.
Place TWO labels on each bag with your first and last name and type of treatment (one on each side).
Treatment Codes:
FULL: Full treatment (washed, heat-treated, folded)
TF: Treat and fold
HC: Heat Chamber treatment
Labelling Tips:
Use light-coloured packing tape or duct tape to make labels.
Write on the labels with a dark-coloured permanent marker (e.g., black Sharpie).
Avoid using sticky notes, masking tape, or painter’s tape as they can fall off.
Best Practice:
Attach a 5” long strip of 2” or 3” wide silver duct tape to each side of the bag.
Write on the tape with a black Sharpie marker.
By following these instructions, you ensure that your items are properly prepared for pick-up and treatment. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
