In fact, bed bugs can survive up to a year without feeding. So if they’re already in there, the cover traps them but doesn’t kill them.

So… Are Covers Useless?

A zippered, bed bug–proof cover is incredibly useful after treatment. It seals off any bugs that might be missed, helps with future inspections, and adds a layer of protection against re-infestation.
